The Last Poets Holy Terror is now available in stores and here through our site. Produced by Bill Laswell, the album reunited Umar Bin Hassan and Abiodun Oyewole (aka Dune) for the first time in over twenty years resulting in an album as vital as any of the Poets work in the 70s. Here is a bit of an update on what Laswell has been up to of late. He just finished up his first 5.1 Surround Sound remix, getting to revisit Herbie Hancock's landmark recording 'Future Shock'; Look for it in early 2003 and don't be surprised if you see more 5.1 news in future. Next up he'll be remixing some of the Sony Classical catalog.
